Lord Jesus Christ, King of glory, deliver the souls of all the faithful departed from the pains of hell and from the bottomless pit; deliver them out of the lion's mouth, lest hell should swallow them up, lest they fall into the outer darkness; but let Thy standard-bearer, Saint Michael, bring them back into Thy holy light, which Thou didst promise of old to Abraham and to his seed. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

Specific Intentions

Cancer Patients
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty", "The Wonder Worker" because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years, you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being.
You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:
Susan Anne
Chase Fisher and family
Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Parkinson's Disease
Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.
Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially those for whom we pray.
Ron Mitchell&
We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will. Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so much desire.
We ask this through Christ our Lord who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

Atrial Fibrillation
Dear Convert, after a sinful life, through the power of God's holy Word you learned to love your fellow human beings.   Self-sacrificing, you founded the Society of Hospital Brothers.  No wonder the Church made you the patron of patients and nurses, heart patients. That is why we confidently have recourse to you. Please give assistance to Geraldine Layne and teach us to be kind like you.
God, You filled St. John with the spirit of compassion. Grant that by practicing works of charity we may deserve to be numbered among the elect in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Loss of a Child
Father of mercies and God of all consolation, your only begotten Son taught us, "Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Send now your Spirit upon your servants, their names here unknown, as they grieve for the loss of their son. Wrap them in your loving grace, forgive their anger, give them hope in their despair, lead them through acceptance and into Your peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord, who wept at the death of Lazarus. Amen.

Intercessory Prayer to St. Mary Magdalene
Saint Mary Magdalene, woman of many sins, who by conversion became the beloved of Jesus, thank you for your witness that Jesus forgives through the miracle of love.
You, who already possess eternal happiness in His glorious presence, please intercede for me, so that some day I may share in the same everlasting joy. Amen.

Concluding Litany

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.  O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.Amen.
